Exploring ways in which communication teachers can contribute to conflict transformation, XU DevCom’s full-time faculty member, Ms Rechelle Ann Barraquias, attended a 5-day training certificate program sponsored by the PCOJON, CHED Region 11, and Germany’s Forumzfd. This was held on Dec 3-7 at Eden Paradise in Davao City.

Barraquias was among the 13 communication educators selected from Cagayan de Oro, Davao, and General Santos to learn tools and discuss ways to train communication students do thorough and well-researched journalism pieces that will reduce conflict.
