A part-time Development Communication faculty was among the top 70 East Asian youth delegates to the East Asian Seas Youth Forum with the theme “HOPE: Healthy Oceans, People, and Economies” from November 26 to 30 in Iloilo City.

Marvin Pamisa, a batch 2018 graduate of the program who is currently teaching Seminars, Photography, and Media Laws classes, completed the EAS Youth Forum in the Visayan province together with other select environmental youth advocates from the ASEAN Member states, China, South Korea, and Japan. The Forum, which is a concurrent component of the East Asian Seas Congress 2018, aims to heighten awareness and inspire action among the youth for the preservation of the East Asian seas and oceans.
