“There is one thing the photograph must contain, the humanity of the moment.”
— Robert Frank

Showing that there is more to taking “Instagrammable” photos, the freshmen students of XU DevCom taking up Photography for Development (DEVCOM 6) will hold their photography exhibit on February 20 to February 22, 2019 at the H&M wing in Centrio Ayala Mall.
Entitled, Lansad 11: “Pangantucan: Unfolding Stories of Resiliency,” the exhibit features the interesting places and lives of the people in Pangantucan, a municipality in Bukidnon, with photos taken after the students’ immersion in the area on February 1-3 this year.
Mr. Marvin Pamisa, the course’s instructor said that, “Audience can look forward to experiencing Pangantucan in photos skillfully taken by the students. They will be in awe with the wonders of the place and the skill of the students to actually be able to take that.”
He also adds that, “Photography for Development is really one to bring to the public these beautiful stories captured in photos.”
The exhibit is the 11th installment of Lansad, an annual showcase of the works of Photography students in XU DevCom.
