The senior students of XU DevCom have filled the entire cinema one of Centrio Ayala Mall, successfully holding the 4th Mindanao Young Communicators Congress on February 22, 2019.

With the theme, “#INFOential: Digitalizing Advocacies”, the event also referred to as Echo 2019, gathered close to 200 faculty and students from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, Liceo de Cagayan University, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, Lourdes College, Mindandao State University – Naawan, Bukidnon State University, Manolo NHS, Holy Cross, Corpus Christi and St. Mary’s Academy.

Showcasing the power of the social media in bringing various advocacies to a wider range of audience, three passionate speakers coming from different organizations have shared their insights during the discourse. these are Marlon Nombrado, the co-founder of the Out of the Box Media Literacy initiative, Angeli Monique Siladan, the Project Manager of Qapwa, and Hamilcar Chanjueco of Mindanao Pride.
