Why did you choose XU DevCom?
In all honesty, DevCom was not my 1st choice. It made me decide to choose DevCom when I saw the curriculum. It made me feel that I belong. I was not that familiar of the course at that time but I am thankful that I trusted my gut feeling.
Tell us about your experience with the program.
From day 1 to graduation day, my experience was very memorable. I did not only learn theories and concepts but it also molded me as a person. For me, DevCom produces great leaders because I was able to reach my greatest potentials which I didn’t know back in high school days. I discovered many things that I didn’t know that I can do.We had interpersonal communication activities which thought me well in dealing with other. Many opportunities opened; I was able to represent the UNICEF: Water Stories project in Manila and be a part of Pinoy Media Congress which gave me a remarkable experience. DevCom is not just by the books, It teaches important life skills.
What is your current job?
I am the owner of G Press Printing Services and it’s operating for almost 4 years.
Are you using what you learned in college?
Yes. Everything I do when it comes in managing my own business, I owe it to the things I learn in DevCom.
