So yes, this year, three (3) students of XU DevCom have made it to the honors list and will receive their medals in the Commencement Exercises on March 29. As we celebrate this milestone of our students, here are pieces of information about our honor students.

Philline Marie Felicilda
As Prime Minister of the Aggie Student Council (ASC), Philline had to juggle the responsibilities of being both a scholar and a student leader. With her child-like demeanor, Philline proved that time management is the key to success as the council was also nominated in the Best Student Council category of the XU Magis Awards. With this, she was also selected as the Outstanding Student of the College of Agriculture.

Megumi Tacastacas
Megumi Tacastacas
Megu’s no-nonsense persona made her perfect for her position as Deputy Prime Minister; overseeing all the chambers in the college. Always one to pursue excellence, Megu is 1/3 of the group awarded with KSSR support and best thesis recognition for their study entitled, “Textual Analysis on Women Identification in PDuterte’s Speeches in March 2018”. While it appears that this lady-like chinita is all-business, her close friends can assure that she does know how to party HARD.

Rain Shower Dalugdug
Though her name will make you feel gloomy, Rain Shower’s personality is a ball of sunshine. Being part of the XU PAF ROTC will tell you that there’s more to her sweet and soft-spoken façade. And as volunteer and peace advocate for Peacekwela, we do know a woman of substance when we see one.
