Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines – The Development Communication Society, the co-curricular organization of the DevCom Department has elected its new set of officers for the 2023-2024 school year. Al-Ashrie Saro, Leigh Kyla Rondina, Kylla Allysa Fuentes, and Val Matthew Gabutan, all incoming second year students were elected the top posts of the organization after an online election was held on June 17-18, 2023.

Under the banner of the Union of Students for the Advancement of Democracy- Xavier University (USAD-XU), these newly-elected officers are committed to advancing the interests of DevCom students through a platform centered on key agendas such as freedom, equality, solidarity, and social justice. They aim to foster a vibrant and inclusive community within the department while addressing relevant issues and promoting meaningful engagement.
